Resurrectional Tropar, Tone 2

When You descended to death, Life Immortal, You slew Hades with the splendor of Your Divinity. And when from the depths You raised the dead, all the Powers of Heaven cried out: Giver of life, Christ our God, glory to You.

Tropar to Three Hierarchs, Tone 4

Teachers of the universe, in that you share in the ways of the apostles, entreat the Master of all, that He grant peace to the world and great mercy to our souls.

Glory … Kondak  to Three Hierarchs, Tone 2

Lord, You have received the Sacred Heralds of Divine Proclamation, the foremost among Teachers into the enjoyment of Your Good Things and into their eternal rest. For You have accepted their labors and death as surpassing any burned offering, for You alone glorify Your Saints.

Now and Ever… Kondak from Triodion, Tone 3

Having foolishly abandoned Your paternal glory, I have squandered on vices the wealth that You have given me. Therefore, with the voice of the prodigal I cry out to You: I have sinned before You, O Compassionate Father, accept me in repentance and make me as one of your hired servants.

Epistles

Deacon: Wisdom!

Reader: The reading is from the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians.

Deacon: Let us be attentive.

Reader: Brethren, all things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

Deacon: Wisdom!

Reader: The reading is from the Letter of St. Paul to the Hebrews.

Deacon: Let us be attentive.

Reader: Brethren, remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Priest: Peace be with you.

Reader: And with your spirit. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Verse: May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble. May the Name of the God of Jacob protect you.

Verse: Lord, save the king and hear us on the day we call out to You.

Verse: The heavens shall confess Your wonders, O Lord, and Your truth in the church of the saints.

Communion Verses

Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the highest. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Rejoice in the Lord, you Righteous, praise befits the upright. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
