Entrance Hymn

Come, let us worship and bow down before Christ. Son of God, through the prayers of the Birth-Giver of God, save us who sing to You: "Alleluia!"

Resurrectional Tropar, Tone 8

You descended from on High, Merciful One. You accepted the three day burial to free us from our passions. Lord, our Life and Resurrection. Glory to You.

Tropar of the Feast, Tone 4

Today is the prelude of God's Benevolence and the preaching of salvation for the human race. The Virgin appears in the Temple of God, proclaiming Christ to all in anticipation. Let us rejoice and chant to her: "Rejoice, Fulfillment of the Creator's Divine Plan."

Glory… Resurrectional Kondak, Tone 8

By rising from the tomb, You raised up the dead. Adam is risen and Eve exults in Your Resurrection. The entire world celebrates Your rising from the dead, Greatly Merciful One.

Now and Ever …
Kondak of the Feast, Tone 4

The All Pure Temple of the Savior, the Precious Bridal Chamber and Virgin, the Sacred Treasure of the Glory of God, is led today into the House of the Lord. With her she brings the grace of the Divine Spirit. God's angels chant her praise: "She is indeed the heavenly Tabernacle."

Prokimens

Deacon: Wisdom!

Choir: (repeats the prokimen)

Reader: In Judah God is known; His Name is great in Israel.

Choir: (repeats the prokimen)

Reader: The Second Prokimen in Tone 3: My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

Choir: My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

Epistles

Deacon: Wisdom!

Reader: The reading is from the Letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians.

Deacon: Let us be attentive.

Reader: Brethren, Brethren, I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Deacon: Wisdom!

Reader: The reading is from the Letter of St. Paul to the Hebrews.

Deacon: Let us be attentive.

Reader: Brethren, indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance.

Priest: Peace be with you.

Reader: And with your spirit. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Verse: Come let us rejoice in the Lord. Let us shout with jubilation to God our Savior.

Verse: Let us come before His Face with thanksgiving; with psalms let us shout in jubilation to Him.

Verse: Hear, daughter, see and incline your ear.

Instead of "It is right in truth"

Beholding the entry of the All-Pure, the angels were struck with amazement, seeing how the Virgin entered into the Holy of Holies.

Irmos Tone 4: Let no profane hand touch the Living Ark of God, but let the lips of the faithful, singing without ceasing the words of the angel to the Birth-Giver of God, cry aloud in great joy: "Pure Virgin, you are truly high above all."

Communion Hymn

Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the highest. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the Name of the Lord Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
